HANDLING METHOD: Trolley-belt-goods compartment

Design features: Cash desk with delivery conveyor belt, folding push-in device and large goods compartment. Suitable for the use of block and modular cash registers. With the help of the folding push-in device there is a possibility of checking out small quantities of goods within the immediate reach of the cashier and also large quantities of goods directly and easily in the trolley. The folding push-in device is on the side where the customers pass through. It can be opened, for entering and leaving, by simple hand operation, and in the closed position it is used as the goods transfer point. It is possible to look into the goods trolley so that the danger of theft is largely eliminated. BA, Varius, SOL, SLZ-E and DIY models can also be supplied without conveyor belt, but with goods counter.

WAY OF WORKING of BA, Varius, SOL, SLZ-E and DIY cash desks:The customer goes with his goods trolley past the right hand side of the cash desk and places the goods on the conveyor belt. By operating the foot switch the cashier brings the goods within her reach, registers the goods (with a view into the goods trolley) and pushes them into the goods compartment. The folding sliding-in device serves as the goods transfer point and is to be kept free of goods. For large quantities of goods the cashier opens the folding sliding-in device and reads the price off direct from the goods trolley. By simple hand operation the device can be closed again and the second customer, who has already placed his goods on the belt, can be served.

The cash register, cashier, cash desk and customer are adjusted to one another in the TACKENBERG design in such a way that smooth handling and the fastest possible check-out are ensured.
